Dowry's mis-conception

“Daddy, jewelry and Tv, Fridge..what you placed in home need head, are unnecessary. It’s a dowry. I am totally opposed of it. Dowry is social evil.” –said a son on the eve of his own sister marriage.

"Son, I think, you have misconception about dowry. In fact, dowry is upper caste evil. It is no concern with our society. Dowry is purely upper caste’s problem. Bride burning, you wouldn't have seen in our society. Customary, it is a tradition to give nominal jewelry and some home needs in daughter’s marriage. This is solely parent’s pleasure, what they want to give." 

"....On the other hand, dowry is intentionally forceful act. It gives pressure on parents. Sometimes, this pressure comes up in form of suicide or hanging of father.Dowry is a tradition of upper castes."
 Dalits are basically enemy of upper caste and their tradition, their rituals and custom. We have anti-upper caste culture. In our society, man and woman are equal. We have no denigration towards our women part. Dowry means purchasing a Damaad. Our society have no this partiality. We have no ‘Tilak’ like custom.” – Father tried to clear his misconception.

“But, giving jewelry..Tv..Fridge are somehow part of dowry. And justifying it ? It is a sick mentality. I strongly  condemn this.”

“Okay my son !  Than why there should be huge decoration, DJ and heavy bride garments?  Dr. Ambedkar never asked our people to do so? Why our ‘educated lot’ have no hesitation to drains huge money on this head? How it is justified? And if this is fair, than how jewelry and home needs are unfair ?” –asked father.

Telent and Competion

कभी ऐसा था कि म्यूजिक कम्पोजर के जैसा गीत उसी लय में गाने के लिए कहा जाता था। मगर, आज खुद म्यूजिक कम्पोजर सामने डायस पर बैठ कर कहता है कि यार, तुमने तो मुझे भी पीछे छोड़ दिया। मैं, तुम्हारे सामने कुछ भी नहीं हूँ
डांस हो या म्यूजिक: सभी क्षेत्र में टेलेंट इतना हाई है कि आँखें चका-चौंध रह जाती है। मगर तब, यही बात  कम्पीटीशन में क्यूँ नजर नहीं आती ? बात नेशनल लेवल की हो या इंटर-नेशनल।

भगवान् राम अयोध्या में विवादित जगह ही पैदा हुए थे। क्योंकि, करोड़ों हिन्दू  सदियों से ऐसा मानते हैं। और फिर, हिन्दुओं के तमाम धार्मिक ग्रन्थ इसके प्रमाण है (हाई कोर्ट के जज का विवादित फैसला )। 

Govt Duty

Parents should not have any expectation from their kids.- said son.
But, who should have care to them ? - asked father.
They should take care themselves. - said son.
Parents look-after their kids and give education hopping that they will look-after at their old age ? - said father.
No, It's their duty. Animals and birds do the same ? - said son.
Okay, but human being isn't animal. And, be a human being; he has some obligations towards his parents, family and society ?
No, man is a social animal. And, he has the same family life as animal have ? said son.
That means, parents should be left to die on their fate ? - Father raised the voice.
No, I don't mean that. If kids are in a position to take care then they should do. But, it shouldn't be an obligation on them.
If, it shouldn't be an obligation on them and if, parents are unable to take care in their old age, then ? asked father.
Then, it's Govt. duty to take care, as it going to happened in European countries. -replied son.

टेम्पो ड्राइवर (Tempo Driver)

  टेम्पो ड्राइवर

घटना, बोरीबरी से नागपुर के बीच की है। बोरीबरी, नागपुर के आऊट स्कर्ट में है। हम लोग, जब टेम्पो खाली था, आगे की सीट पर बैठ गए थे। ड्राइवर तभी आगे बढ़ा था जब टेम्पो फुल हो चूका। मगर , तब भी वह जहाँ सवारी देखता , टेम्पो रोक कर सवारी को ठूंसता। बोरीबरी से अभी तीन-चार कि मी ही चला था कि फिर,  टेम्पो रुका।
 "ये अम्मा, थोडा हट कर बैठो। वहां 5 सवारी बैठती है।" - टेम्पो ड्राइवर ने पीछे की थ्री सीटर पर बैठी एक औरत को लगभग डपटते हुए कहा।
"अब इहाँ कहाँ जगह है, जो तुम उसे बैठने को बोल रहे हो ? चार तो पहले ही बैठे हैं।" - महिला ने प्रतिवाद किया।
"मैंने तुमको पहले ही बोला था कि सट कर बैठो ?" - ड्राइवर ने मुहं से बहुत सारी पिक जमीन पर थूकते हुए कहा।
"भैया, पहले ही हम सिकुड़-सिकुड़ कर बैठे हैं। तुम खुद आ कर देख लो।" -महिला ने प्रार्थना भरे स्वर में कहा।
"ये मैया, बकर बकर मत कर। वहां 5 सवारी आती है, उसे बैठने दे ।" - ड्राइवर ने झिडक दिया।
